Back Tack 3 - Leaving on a Jet Plane

Well my baby bunny for Back Tack 3 is completed, photographed, packaged and should be winging his way on a jet plane to the UK by this evening. Whew! At this point my BT3 buddy Helen from London Singapore Frankfurt needs to avert her eyes.

Well here's baby bunny, I used the Better Homes & Gardens magazine pattern because I have a bit of a soft spot for floppy bunnies. To keep his fighting weight down (posting heavy stuff overseas is *expensive*!) I made him a tiny 4 inches tall when seated which was very fiddly!

I scrapped version #1 which used cotton woven and was impossible to work with in that size and tried again using a lovely and soft hemp/organic cotton brushed fleece in a creamy white which has a little bit of stretch to it - ideal for turning and stuffing such petite limbs. He's stuffed with carded lambs wool and if you look carefully in the second picture you'll see a letter "H" for Helen stitched out under his nose *weg*. ;)

He has his 4 pink buttons (did I *mention* how much I like pink??? :P) on his paws and another heart shaped one on his tail and little pink ears. Baby bunny knows that it's rude to turn up without a gift for the hostess, and as our swap buddy is an aussie expat so he has packed some little aussie treats for her - some pretty pink Iced Vovos - to stay in theme of course. *lol*
